Gestetner Ceylon Limited supplied the above quotation on 13 October 1999. We will
obtain another quotation and remit funds once we have assessed the political situation and
the confirmation of the Computer site.
We have agreed to donate funds for one computer system only and the other three
computer systems are to be donated by three individuals.
CONCLUSION
Our association is working much harder on relationships with the members, who must
become more involved in our activities. The Executive Committee has developed better
communication system but need to go further, and intend to do so with the help of the
younger members who have shown commitment to the association. Now our Alma mater
requires support of all of us and contributions more than ever before. May I appeal for
your continued co-operation towards the development of our association so that we can
achieve a larger trust fund to provide any assistance for our Alma mater that may arise in
the near future.
