HCPPA Canada and USA cordially invite you all to the Summer Picnic to be held on Saturday July 30, 2022, from 10.00 AM. We are excited to restart this annual event after 2 years of break. This will be again a whole day event from 10am to 6pm, with a lot of food -- dosai, khool, kothu and BBQ. We are also planning to host a volleyball tournament this time. So please prepare your teams! Fundraising For Land Adjoining Hostel Entrance

A land adjoining the front gate is up for sale. Purchasing and annexing this particular piece of land is vital to retaining the neighborhood most appropriate for the operation of the hostel and for any expansion in the future. We see this as a great long-term investment beneficial to Hartley College and to our community that should not be missed. 25th Year Celebrations by Hartley College Old Boys in Toronto [Monsoon Journal - Aug. 2013]

The "Cruise, dinner and dance" organized as part of the 25th year celebrations of the Hartley College Past Pupils association of Canada and USA took place or the 30th of June 2013. Attended by 475 members, friends, families and well wishers the event was a grand success.

On Saturday April 6th, Hartley College PPA celebrated their 25th anniversary by hosting a musical night. The co organizers were Computek College and Hartley College and it was a fundraising musical event for the benefit of Hartley College and SACEM [Monsoon Journal].

Natha Vinotham - 2013

Natha Vinotham 2013 is a fund raising event for Hartley College & SACEM organized by Computek College in partnership with HCPPA Canada & USA. This is a rare musical production by Rajesh Vaidya (Veena player & music composer) with Mahathi (karnatic and playback singer), Haricharan (a popular play back singer) and four other well known musicians from South India.

HCPPA Canada and USA completes 25 years in 2013. The same year also marks the 175th year of our Hartley College. To mark the occasion the Executive Committee of the HCPPA Canada/USA has decided to publish a souvenir. The executive committee and the editorial committee appointed for the compiling of the souvenir invites article submissions from all stakeholders of Hartley College and Hartley College Past Pupil Associations.

24th Hartley Nite & AGM were held -- Monsoon Journal

The 24th Hartley Nite and Annual General Meeting of HCPPA Canada/USA branch were held at the Queen's Palace Banquet Hall on the 3rd day of November, 2012. The event was attended by around 200 past pupil, well wishers and their families marked the end of yet another successful year in the history of the association.

Life Membership with HCPPA Canada/USA Ever since the HCPPA Canada was formed Membership was on annual basis. On 13th April 1998, with the dawn of the Tamil New Year, Mr. Sivasothilingam pioneered by becoming the first Life member. By the end of the year Life membership was 23. During 1999 enrolment was very active and by the end of the year it totaled 56. At the moment the life membership stands at 120. We hope more members would join as life members and avoid the hassle of remitting every year $10.00. Life Membership fees are deposited in TERM DEPOSIT and renewed yearly.
