Dear Hartleyites:
Mrs. Emily Richards, a former teacher of Hartley College in the 1950's passed away on January 29, 2007.
Her house is just opposite the Point Pedro Lighthouse.
All her four sons (listed below) are old boys of Hartley College.

- Mrs. Alagaratnam (U.K)- (She is Dr. Dharma Alagaratnam's (U.S.A) Sister in Law)
- Mr. Jeyarajan ( U.K) ( Engineer)
- Mr. Selvarajan (U.K) - Solicitor.
- Mr. Kirubairajan (Australia)
