Dear Hartleyites & Friends,

Let me convey the sad news of the demise of Mr. Sandrasegaram on Friday the 12th October 2007 at Navaloka Hospital (Colombo) where he was hospitalized. Mr. Sandrasegaram is the father of Mr. Shan Shanmuganathan, Chairman of HCPPA Global Trust.

Mr. Sandrasegaram was 92 years old and was a retired Chief Education officer when he retired from the public service.

The body was brought to Shan's residence at No.74/1,Ward Place, Colombo 7 on Saturday the 13th October 2007 around 1430 hours (2.30 p.m) and the funeral was held at Borella Kanatte(Hindu Section) on Sunday the 14th October 2007 at 1530 hours (3.30 p.m).
