In these technologically driven times global connectivity is becoming easier. Hartleyites are very fortunate to be able to access information about their school from the website launched in November 1998. The ability to share and view the news about Hartley is something not to be taken for granted. In particular, the "Daily Diary" feature provides a fabulous insight into the daily workings of the school. For the old boys, it highlights the progress the school is making in providing premier education for its students.

The website allows the past pupils to leave and find contact details of their peers and thus rekindle old friendships. Such a precious resource should not be wasted. Old Hartleyites are encouraged to view the website regularly and leave their contact details.

I request the web team to consider allocating a section to the Principal for him to post the School report on a regular basis. Among other things, this report should cover the various needs of the school. This will allow the old boys and the HCPPAs to respond to the requirements of the school.
