Hartley College maintains her eminence in Sri Lanka mainly through the brilliant achievements and the resourceful gratitude of her pupils - Past and Present.

The Past Pupils in particular keep her in global light through a network of splendid and dynamic Associations in many countries and with a series of projects and programs undertaken year in and year out.

Among these the Website created by the Hartleyites in Canada is probably the most spectacular and significant. It has brought many generations of Hartleyites at home and abroad into a well knit and fascinating family,

Any Hartleyite in any part of the world and any piece of information about the College is and for ever available at any time of the day at the the click of the mouse. The vigor and vitality of a noble alma mater is also in the eternal vigilance of her pupils.

Above all it would be an invaluable tool in the successful implementation and monitoring of the Trust that all the PPAA are now creating to coordinate and consolidate their services to the College.

It is heartening to learn that the 5th Anniversary of this Website is being celebrated on the 7th November 2003. As one who quenches his nostalgia through this medium quite often I take pleasure in offering my congratulations and best wishes to the team, which inaugurated it.
