Our Alma Mater has been in dire need of external assistance in order to maintain and promote the high educational (both academic and extra curricular) standards, which have been developed and nurtured by the past Principals and Teachers. Hartleyites are duty bound to step in, at this crucial stage to ensure that the future generations of Hartleyites would continue to enjoy the same, if not better, privileges and traditions.
The associations of Hartleyites, called Hartley College Past Pupils' Association abbreviated as HCPPA, were formed by Hartleyites around the world in order to support their Alma Mater as well as for the fellowship of Hartleyites.
World Wide HCPPAs: So far HCPPAs were established by the concerned Hartleyites at the following locations: Point Pedro (Sri Lanka), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Vanni (Sri Lanka), United Kingdom, Canada & U.S.A, New South Wales (Australia) and Victoria (Australia).
HCPPA Ottawa (Canada): In 1998, the HCPPA Ottawa (Canada) division was formed by the Hartleyites of Canada's National Capital Region. One of the significant initiative by this PPA was the Hartley College Global Website, which was launched by your webteam in 1998.
HCPPA Trust: In July 2002, the world wide branches of Hartley College Past Pupils Association met in Colombo and decided to jointly establish a common-body called Hartley College PPA Trust in order to coordinate the school redevelopment. The legal registration of the Trust was eventually completed in December 2003.
